Syracuse Neighborhood Associations
Greater Strathmore The Greater Strathmore Neighborhood Asociation strives to preserve, promote and protect the quality of life in our unique urban environment.
We are committed to providing a community forum that: Promotes strengths, attractiveness, pride and diversity of the neighborhood; Preserves the beauty and history of our homes and green spaces; Protects and nurtures the safety of our people and the excellence of our schools. We are an association of neighbors joining together for the betterment of our community.
Sedwick Farm Neighborhood Visit this site for pictures of every home in one of Syracuse's finest neighborhoods. There is also an events calander and the long history of the neighborhood.
Southeast Neighborhood University Association SEUNA is the oldest continuously functioning volunteer organization in the City of Syracuse. Our membership covers over 2,500 households in the area southeast of Syracuse University's main campus. All owner-occupied households within our incorporated boundaries are welcome to become a member. Join us in the preservation and enhancement of our neighborhood.
Westcott East Neighborhood Association The Westcott East Neighborhood Association seeks to enable local residents to collectively enjoy and improve "our" neighborhood: bounded by Greenwood Place, Columbus Avenue & Thornden Park on the west, Genesee Street on the north, Westmoreland Avenue & Houston Avenue on the east, and Euclid Avenue & Meadowbrook Drive on the south, parts of ZIP codes 13210 & 13224.
Lincoln Hill Neighborhood Lincoln Hill Neighborhood Association is a not for profit organization that was formed in 2001 by residents who live between the corridor of James, Teall, Hawley, and Elm. Our Association works with City, County, State and Federal agencies to assist us in completing our goals. We continue our projects and improvements to our neighborhood with their support. We cannot, however, be successful without you, our neighbor, to keep us moving in the right direction. We hold quarterly neighborhood meetings and also get together informally around the neighborhood! We hope to see you at one of our events this year.
Tipp Hill Neighborhood Association The mission of the Tipperary Hill Neighborhood Association is to preserve and improve the character of the area while providing a safe and beautiful environment for everyone.
Eastwood Neighborhood Association Eastwood Neighborhood Association, Inc. is dedicated to promoting, developing, and enhancing the Eastwood Neighborhood as a culturally, socially, and economically vital community within the city of Syracuse, New York. The goal of the ENA is to further our community as a desirable locale for residence, business, and recreation.
University Neighborhood Preservation Association The major goal of the University Neighborhood Preservation Association (UNPA), is to help families and individuals purchase a home in the Syracuse University area. UNPA administers an assistance grant program to help with down-payments and/or closing costs. Our only requirement is owner-occupancy.
Outer Comstock Neighborhood Assocation OCNA is a non-profit neighborhood organization representing the area bounded by East Colvin Street, Skytop, Ainsley Drive and Brighton Avenue. OCNA was incorporated in 1979 yo promote and preserve a neighborhood environment which is pleasant, attractive, safe, healthy, and otherwise conducive to the well-being of its residents…

North East Hawley Green For over 30 years, NEHDA has served our community by helping qualified individuals fulfill their dreams of homeownership in the Near Northeast Neighborhood of Syracuse.
ReStore Created by Syracuse Habitat for Humanity, the ReStore provides materials at a low cost that make home improvements possible for anyone, regardless of income constraints. If you are remodeling or rebuilding your home, or just cleaning out your garage, consider donating your leftover materials so that another person can improve their home.
Home Headquarters offers Nationally-certified Homebuyer Education for first time homebuyers, financial and homeownership counseling, Foreclosure Prevention and real estate planning and development. Home HeadQuarters is also one of the largest regional providers of affordable home and energy improvement loans and grants to area homeowners.
Downtown Syracuse Committee The Downtown Committee is a private, not-for-profit, professional downtown management organization, representing all property owners and tenants within the central business district. The organization was created by the City of Syracuse in 1975 at the request of the private-sector leadership. A special assessment district was created to provide the financial resources necessary to ensure the proper management of the area bound by Interstate 81, Interstate 690, Onondaga Creek, and Adams Street. The Downtown Committee undertakes programs to improve downtown's image, strengthen its economic base, increase its attractiveness, and assure that it's clean, safe, and accessible.
Syracuse Neighborhood Initiative The Syracuse Neighborhood Initiative is a collaborative effort between the City of Syracuse, local and national non-profit community development organizations, and private sector leaders. The partnership was initiated in response to a challenge, issued by Congressman James T. Walsh (R-Syracuse) in 1999, to revitalize neighborhoods in Syracuse and reclaim the City's vacant buildings that are having the greatest blighting impact.
CNY Fair Housing Council The Fair Housing Council of Central New York, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting equal housing opportunity through education, research, advocacy and enforcement.Our goal is to eliminate housing discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, sexual orientation, source of income, disability and familial status.
