Who Are We?

cnyREALTOR.com is owned and operated by the Greater Syracuse Association of REALTORS (GSAR) and the Central New York Information Service, Inc. (CNYIS). Both organizations work together to provide their members and the public with real estate resources, services, tools and education.  

Founded in 1911, GSAR has remained true to its Mission of providing resources, promoting professionalism, advancing real property rights, and positioning its Members for success. GSAR offers members educational opportunities throughout the year through NYS credit courses and seminars. Members also have the opportunity to network with fellow professionals during annual events.

The Greater Syracuse Association of REALTORS is a member of the National Association of REALTORS which is the largest trade association in the Country with over 1.2 million members. GSAR is Central New York’s largest and most active trade association, representing over 1,500 members, who are involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries. All REALTOR Members adhere to a strict code of ethics and professional standards.

The mission of the Greater Syracuse Association of REALTORS® is to provide resources and education, promote professionalism and position our members for success. We support our community through political advocacy of real property rights and by supporting organizations and programs to enhance homeownership opportunities.  

The Central New York Information Service is an organization operated by a group of Central New York Broker owners. The data within the MLS is the property the Broker owners and follows strict guidelines to ensure accuracy, sharing of information and complete data.
