Wondering which phone to buy?? See flyer at the bottom of this page called "Current eKey Devices".

Key Options for the new Bluetooth iBoxes:

eKey Options for Droid or Blackberry Users:

Your phone will now open the new Bluetooth lockboxes without the need for an additional adapter.  To access the Bluetooth function, you only need to push up the the bottom of the lockbox.  This will activate the function and you will see a red blinking light indicating the Bluetooth function is activated.  You will proceed as you normally would.  Obtain key, Release Shackle, etc.  You will need to activate the Bluetooth option for each action you choose to do.  Example:  If you are putting a lockbox on a property & you need to enclose keys in key container you will

1) Activate Bluetooth (pushing up on bottom of key container.  Red blinking light should be seen)

2) Select the Obtain Key option, input your 4 digit pin code.  You will see on your phone when connected and the operation was successful.

3) Push up on Key container to release.  Insert keys and replace key container.

You will follow the same procedure to release the shackle:

1) Same as above.

2) Select Release Shackle on your phone, input the 4 digit shackle code (this will be provided to you by your office manager/admin).

3) Select begin.  Shackle will release.

eKey Options for iPhone up to the 4S:

Your phone will not communicate via Bluetooth.  You will have to purchase the additional iPhone adapter.  The fee for this adapter, including tax, is $59.35 (this is a one time purchase).  You will not need to activate the Bluetooth option on the lockboxes.  Insert the iPhone adapter into the bottom of your phone. (The adapter only fits in one slot, and only one way).

You will then use your phone to select a function (ex.. obtain key, release shackle, etc).  You will then input your 4 digit pin code, select begin, point the adapter at the lockbox and it will function normally.  When communication is made, you will be instructed to push up on the key container, and so on.

**Please note** There is no adapter as of yet for the new iPhone 5.   Supra is working on a “fix” and we will notify you once this has been completed

For ActiveKey Users:

You will follow the same procedure as you always have to access the key container and to release a shackle.  You will basically follow the same procedure as if using an iPhone.

There is no need to activate the Bluetooth function when using the Active Key.

Please consider the benefits of upgrading to either eKey option listed above:

· the convenience of having your device with you at all times.

· no worries as to whether the battery will stay charged.

· pay a smaller monthly fee

Your monthly average service fee will be lowered.  With an Active Key you are currently paying $19.38 per month.

By upgrading to either Ekey option, your monthly service fee will decrease to $18.84 per month.  How great is that!!!

That’s a few cups of coffee throughout the year.

VERY IMPORTANT REMINDER.  If you are planning to access a lockbox in the Rochester or Buffalo areas, your Bluetooth function will not work.  Those boards are still using the infrared lockboxes.  For more information on this type of situation, please contact Kathy @ GSAR: 315-457-5979 ext 21 or witthoeft@cnyrealtor.com
