“Syracuse Homes: Buying Now Makes $ense.” 

Saturday, September 27, 11 am-12 pm / Dewitt Community Library in Shoppingtown Mall

The public is invited to learn about buying a home in Syracuse from among Central New York’s top real estate industry professionals – REALTOR, mortgage banker, attorney and home inspector, and local grants and financing expert.  “What you read about real estate market conditions in the national press is clearly not what’s happening here in Syracuse,” says Don Radke, a 33-year veteran of the Central New York professional real estate community.

Resource material and information for home buyers and sellers will be made available.  A question and answer period and buffet lunch follows the panel discussion.  Seating for this event is very limited and will fill up fast, so please call the library at 446-3578 or visit www.dewilb.org to register. Home Buyer Workshop Series

Buying a first home is a major moment in every person’s life.  Preparing for this process is vital to being able to take this big step.  With that in mind, NEHDA, Inc. (Northeast Hawley Development Association) continues its Sixth Annual Workshop Series this fall with “Keys to Homeownership”, a workshop series for anyone wanting to learn about this process, from determining homeownership costs to making a final decision about which house to purchase.   The schedule for the workshops is as follows:
