Disney Vacation Deal

  

We have received calls regarding properties in the MLS not being "Pended" in a timely manner.

 

Please see below from the MLS Rules & Regulations:

 

Section 2.5:  Reporting Sales to the Service
 
Sales (C - Closed), Sales Pending (P - Pending), Accepted Offers with Unresolved Contingencies (K) and Rentals shall be reported immediately to the MLS by the listing broker.  Sales and Rentals are closed out within seventy two (72) hours of closing (for sales) and taking of possession (for rentals) or a $20.00 penalty will be levied. In addition, no participant will report a single sale more than one time on any property filed with the Multiple Listing Service or a $25.00 penalty will be levied.

 

Note: The listing agreement of a property filed with the MLS by the listing broker should include a provision expressly granting the listing broker authority to advertise; to file the listing with the MLS; to provide timely notice of status changes of the listing to the MLS; and to provide sales information including selling price to the MLS upon sale of the property. If deemed desirable by the MLS to publish sales information prior to final closing (settlement) of a sales transaction, the listing agreement should also include a provision expressly granting the listing broker the right to authorize dissemination of this information by the MLS to its participants.

REALTOR Habitat for Humanity Home in a Box Build -

 

NYSAR, as part of its ongoing efforts to assist its members in making homeownership a tangible opportunity in their communities, is partnering with the Syracuse Chapter of Habitat for Humanity to build a home. The Syracuse site has been selected to honor NYSAR President Dan Hartnett's home town.

 

NYSAR members will be participating in the Habitat for Humanity Home in a Box Build from September 13 to 16, in conjuction with the NYSAR Fall Business Meetings in Saratoga Springs. Volunteers are needed to help build the frame for a home to be later assembled in Syracuse for an extremely deserving family.
