Get on the Social Media Bandwagon!
We have had much success with our Social Media classes so far, so we are going to keep them going!

On February 17th, we are offering two sessions.

9:30am-11:30am is a Hands-on session for beginners. This is in our computer lab, so seating is limited.

11:30-1:30pm is a Social Media roundtable for experienced users. If you have any social media experience and would like to share your likes/dislikes, tricks and tips, or have some questions you need answered, please come to the roundtable! Pizza will be served.

Broker Licensing Course
Interested in becoming a licensed broker/associate broker? Class begins February 28th. Registration deadline is February 21st. Lenders Acknowledge Credit Standards are Too Restrictive
2011 NAR President Ron Phipps discusses meeting with Citibank, Treasury and FHFA, and the acknowledgment that credit requirements are too restrictive.

NAR: Pending Home Sales Continue Uptrend

The National Association of REALTORS (NAR) has reported that pending home sales improved further in December, marking the fifth gain in the past six months.

The Pending Home Sales Index, a forward-looking indicator based on contracts signed in December, rose 2 percent to 93.7, up from 91.9 in November. In the Northeast, the index increased 1.8 percent to 73.9 but is 5.3 percent below December 2009.

NAR Chief Economist Lawrence Yun credits good affordability conditions and economic improvement for increase.
