 CANCELLATIONS: Requests for cancellation must be received in writing NO LATER THAN 72 HOURS PRIOR to the class to avoid a $25 penalty. Buyer's Agents in the 21st Century with John Waugh

June 6, 9:00am - 1:15pm  $48 for GSAR Members/ $60 for Non-members. This course offers an in-depth look at the importance of hiring a buyer's agent.  The complex process of purchasing a home and how a buyer's agent can make that process easier for the buyer will be explored.

 

Accredited Buyer Representative with Jim Pugliese

June 11-12, 8:30am - 5:30pm  15Hrs CE  $295 for NYSAR members/$320 for non-members

The ABR Designation is the mark of excellence in buyer representation services.  Jim Pugliese will be teaching the two-day ABR core course here at GSAR on June 11-12.  Jim will teach you how to represent your buyer clients with confidence, reduce your legal liabilities and sharpen your negotiating skills.  To earn the designation, you must complete one elective course or hold the SRES, Green, GRI designation or ePro certification.

 

Even if you aren't sure yet about wanting to earn the designation, the skills learned in the course will be valuable and you will earn 15 hours of continuing education.

Fair Housing Compliance, Easier than You Think with Fran Carroll

June 18, 1:00pm - 4:15pm  3Hrs. CE.  $36 for GSAR Members/ $45 for Non-members.

Can you afford an $11,000 fine for a first-time offense?  Learn how to protect yourself from charges of discrimination.  If charged, you are presumed GUILTY unless you can prove your innocence. At least 3.0 hrs. of fair housing/anti-discrimination training is required as part of  your 22.5 hrs of CE for license renewal.

Agency, Ethics and Fair Housing: Only Good Business with Don Radke

August 20, 21 & 22, 8:30am - 5:00pm each day.  22.5 Hrs CE  $270 for GSAR Members/$315 for non-members.

ePro Day One (GRI408) with Randy Templeman

September 12, 7.5Hrs CE  8:30am -5:30pm

Learn how to use cutting-edge technologies and digital initiatives to connect with today's savvy real estte consumer and build you business.  You'll also take away valuable tips for managing your online presence and reputation.

Completing this course will get you on your way to earning BOTH the GRI designation and ePRO certification.

Creative Financing with Donavan Pieterse

November 5, 9:00am - 1:30pm  4HRS CE  $48 for GSAR Members/$60 for Non-Members.

Donavan will show you how to look at every real estate transaction as a possible addition to your personal real estate portfolio while at the same time helping the seller. Learn how to use seller financing, land contracts, lease options and more.  You will gain a better understanding of the benefits of owning real estate personally during inflationary times.

*Note: this is not a class on how to help buyers get a bank loan.

 

Short Sales with Donavan Pieterse

November 19, 9:00am - 1:30pm  4HRS CE  $48 for GSAR Members/$60 for Non-Members.   

If you are looking for an in-depth discussion of the short sale, you will not want to miss this class.  You will learn how to process the short sale and will be introduced to the subtle short sale warning signs and elements of a deal that make a short sale unlikely.  The foreclosure process, disclosure issues, and listing issues (e.g., tax liabilities, liens, the BPO and the rel estate commission) will be discussed.  The course closes with a group discussion of on-going and past short sale experiences.  Donavan will teach you how to successfully manage a short sale transaction step by step.
